Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or a related discipline
- 5-7 years of experience in data analysis and reporting
- Thorough understanding of business functions and specialization
- Proficient in using business intelligence applications and cloud services
- In-depth knowledge of the reporting functionalities of ERP, CRM, and database software vendors
- Expertise in statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis
- Advanced skills in complex data manipulation across multiple tables
- Strong abilities in data integration, cleaning, and validation
- Proficient in communicating data analysis and visualizations to both technical and senior management
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python and R
- Excellent research and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate ability to create compelling narratives with appropriate visualizations and design aesthetics
Responsibilities
- Collect and synthesize data from various sources, including both structured and unstructured datasets, to derive insights into business performance
- Identify and analyze trends or patterns, preparing ongoing reports and data visualizations to support strategic business decisions
- Develop and maintain advanced reporting systems, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions
- Generate actionable reports showcasing key performance indicators while identifying areas for operational improvement and root cause issues
- Utilize analytics and metrics to refine processes and project potential costs, risks, and profits of new business ventures
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders, offering strategic recommendations for enhancing business performance
- Deliver reporting solutions and handle ad-hoc report requests within the business unit
- Draft specifications for reports and analyses based on business requirements and available data elements
- Foster collaborative relationships with team members and subject matter experts
- Manage small projects and initiatives effectively
