Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Over 7 years of experience in application or software development engineering.
- Advanced understanding of Oracle Cloud technologies (HCM and ERP-PVM) and Ivalua SaaS applications, capable of providing architectural and design guidance.
- Proficient in designing, building, and maintaining web services and integrations (REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, SFTP) with an emphasis on secure authentication and robust error handling.
- Demonstrated capability in developing and supporting complex integration flows within Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Solid experience with API design and lifecycle management, including specifications, versioning, and various integration patterns.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Oracle Cloud application stack and tools used for ERP-PVM capabilities.
- Skilled in version control systems like Git and GitHub, including modern collaboration workflows.
- Strong ability to convert business needs into actionable technical designs and advanced data modeling.
- Expertise in Oracle 10g, Core Java, JDeveloper, HTML, JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting, and PL/SQL.
- Experience in configuring business process management approval workflows ensuring compliance with standards.
- Advanced understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile, and engineering best practices.
- Proficient in programming languages and frameworks including SQL, Python, and HTML/CSS.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills demonstrated through successful resolution of complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills for conveying intricate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Background in software testing, quality assurance, and performance enhancement for scalable applications.
- Familiar with ticketing systems and customer support tools for effective incident resolution.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently and develop engineering standards and policies.
- Ability to mentor team members and foster engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance software applications that meet the needs of technical teams and end-users.
- Utilize the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment, to implement efficient system improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code following industry best practices and organizational standards.
- Implement efficient data structures and algorithms to optimize application performance and user experiences.
- Identify and resolve advanced issues related to application functionality and performance.
- Lead smaller projects and initiatives, fostering strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
- Contribute to the establishment of application development policies and procedures.
- Engage in continuous learning and improvement as part of the teams collective growth.
- Adapt to both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies effectively.
