Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in FIS Core Banking Systems (RM, GN, IM, AM, SC, TX)
- Proficient in COBOL, DB2, CICS, and JCL
- Strong ability to collaborate with peers, management, staff, and vendors
- Excellent skills in presenting findings and conclusions clearly
- Demonstrated initiative and the capacity to achieve objectives
- Solid experience in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, and troubleshooting
- Attention to detail with effective planning and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation and persuasion
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage teams throughout planning, development, testing, and implementation phases
- Focus on technical analysis, troubleshooting, and coordination
- Develop and implement COBOL/CICS/DB2/JCL within the SDLC framework in a timely manner
- Analyze, code, test, and deploy solutions for incident resolution
- Continuously seek process improvements to enhance our project portfolio
- Communicate with business stakeholders and executive management
- Collaborate with team members for project and program execution
- Engage with vendors and other teams within the organization
- Conduct peer reviews of project plans and code modifications
- Provide technical mentorship to team members
- Perform root cause analysis to resolve recurring technical issues
- Ensure adherence to NFCU and ISD standards and protocols
- Foster strong relationships with team members and other stakeholders
- Undertake additional duties as needed
