Requirements
Must:

- Experience following Systems Development Life Cycles.

- Strong attention to detail while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to present findings, conclusions, and alternatives clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated initiative with sound judgment in decision-making.
- In-depth knowledge of Navy Federal’s services, products, and operations.
- Previous experience in an IT environment.
- Familiarity with Navy Federal business processes and applications.
- ISTQB Foundation level certification (CTFL) and DevOps Institute DevOps Foundation (DOFD) certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
Responsibilities
- I develop intricate Test Plan documents adhering to Navy Federal Test Standards and templates.
- I conduct comprehensive analyses and interpret results, presenting recommendations, potential alternatives, risks, and downstream impacts.
- I ensure effective communication through clear progress updates, test case or plan documentation, root-cause defect reporting, risks, blockers, etc., to maintain an accurate understanding of testing activities.
- I coordinate and carry out testing on complex systems during the System Integration Testing phase.
- I engage in intricate System Development Life Cycle activities utilizing SAFe Agile best practices and methodologies.
- I assist in sizing and estimating for intricate projects and changes.
- I act as a subject matter expert and mentor to colleagues.
- I create and/or update complex manual test cases within approved test tools.
- I build manual test cases with automation in mind while complying with test management guidelines.
- I execute intricate automated test cases and scripts.
- I update complex automated test cases while troubleshooting errors.
- I manage automation parameterization files using NFCU's UFT framework and modify them as required during troubleshooting. I also utilize xpath tools for resolving web element issues.
- I independently write moderately complex end-to-end automated test cases while adhering to established policies and best practices.
- I prepare all necessary documentation (test results, knowledge articles, sign-off, etc.) following the Navy Federal Testing Standards, tools, and templates.
- I document defects/bugs and adhere to established defect/bug lifecycle procedures and policies.
- I perform advanced-level root cause analyses for identified defects/bugs and provide detailed documentation and insights to developers for solutions.
- I collaborate with colleagues, developers, business partners, and other stakeholders to ensure business needs are effectively communicated, documented, and met.
- I analyze changes in policies, procedures, and products, determining downstream impacts on testing.
- I identify moderately complex process, data, or technology improvement opportunities, providing recommendations that consider risks and downstream effects.
- I contribute recommendations related to testing practices to enhance process optimization.
- I participate in project and product team meetings, engaging and contributing while keeping aligned with goals and objectives.
