Must:
We seek candidates with 3-5 years of experience in exploratory data analysis, equipped with a fundamental understanding of the business and operational environment. You should possess skills in statistics, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics. Proficiency in tools such as SQL, R, Python, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, Scala, and AWS is essential. Additionally, experience in model lifecycle execution, technical writing, and data storytelling, along with strong research and interpersonal skills, is crucial. A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related quantitative fields is required. Desirable qualifications include a Master's or PhD in the aforementioned areas.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be tasked with designing, developing, and assessing moderately complex predictive models and advanced algorithms. You will extract meaningful insights from substantial data and metadata sources, testing hypotheses/models while analyzing and interpreting results. Sound judgment is expected as you navigate defined procedures and practices. You will also develop and code moderately complex software programs, algorithms, and automated processes, utilizing modeling and trend analysis to derive insights. As part of the team, you will build relationships with colleagues and subject matter experts, lead small projects and initiatives, and effectively communicate your analyses to a diverse range of stakeholders through written and verbal presentations.
