DoW SkillBridge Fellowship - Cyber Analyst

- Assist in intelligence collection, triage, and analysis of data obtained from intelligence sources - Conduct research on threat actor groups, malware, exploit methods, and vulnerabilities - Execute basic technical intelligence analysis of cyber threats using established analytical methods and forensic tools - Analyze threats that impersonate the NFCU brand - Investigate dark web actors and trends affecting the Financial Services Sector - Assess potential threats to NFCU Key Service Providers - Build networks with external organizations through trusted communities and develop relationships with internal stakeholders - Provide research support for incident response investigations, threat landscape assessments, and collection planning - Aid the team in creating an information-sharing program with public/private organizations and relevant communities - Utilize OSINT research, network and host forensic analysis, log review, and correlation to support investigations - Develop thorough intelligence reports detailing threats and their methods for diverse audiences - Contribute to internal documentation, including detailed procedures, playbooks, and operational metrics reports as necessary - Provide research support for longer-term analytic projects as required - Carry out daily tasks as assigned
