Requirements
Must:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in data architecture and design with cloud technologies.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, especially with Enterprise Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Hubs.
- Competency in data modeling tools and data quality solutions.
- Hands-on knowledge of designing and managing cloud-based analytics and AI solutions using Azure.
- Experience shaping data architecture within complex ecosystems utilizing modern principles like Data Products and Domain-Driven Design.
- Strong skills in information modeling and proficiency in data modeling tools.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration across various teams.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud data architecture and services including Azure platform components.
- Track record of driving significant architectural changes in complex environments, preferably in financial industries.
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL, with a strong understanding of multiple data modeling techniques.
- Familiar with Data Quality, Master Data Management (MDM) tools, and ETL/ELT techniques.
- Solid grasp of big data technologies and data warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into scalable, enterprise-level technical designs.
- Provide technical direction to ensure compliance with best practices and architectural standards.
- Design and architect Azure-based data solutions aligned with business capabilities.
- Optimize data integration patterns for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Lead architecture discussions and conduct design evaluations while mentoring technical teams.
- Create and update comprehensive data architecture blueprints across all layers.
- Develop logical and physical data models, collaborating with various stakeholders for efficient analytics solutions.
- Establish and enforce data modeling standards and practices related to metadata management and governance.
- Deliver thought leadership in designing an Analytical Semantic Layer (ASL).
- Formulate architecture strategies adhering to modern data principles such as Data Mesh and Data Fabric.
- Build frameworks to monitor data quality and address integrity issues.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to convert business requirements into data architecture frameworks.
- Assess existing systems to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing performance and reliability.
- Stay updated with industry innovations and emerging cloud technologies to foster continuous improvement.
- Partner with both internal and external stakeholders for fit-gap analyses on tools and platforms for analytics solutions.
- Mentor team members and promote ongoing learning and growth within the organization.
- Maintain the enterprise data strategy and multi-year roadmap, identifying areas for optimization and innovation across platforms.
