Requirements

Must:
- I have graduated from an accredited four-year college or university in a technical or engineering discipline, or I bring equivalent work experience. - I possess 5-8 years of experience in an intelligence, cyber threat intelligence, or information security role, with a background in cybersecurity tools, intelligence sources, and threat intelligence platforms. - I have previous experience in one or more of the following areas: threat modeling, intelligence collection management, tracking cyber threat infrastructure, dark web research, analyzing high-impact vulnerabilities, or strategic analysis of cyber trends and worldwide events. - I can correlate Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) to logs and alerts from various technologies, such as IDS/IPS, firewalls, proxies, and anti-virus across multiple platforms. - I have hands-on experience in cybersecurity analysis, incident response, or a related field, demonstrating increasing responsibility. - I am familiar with SIEM platforms such as Splunk and ServiceNow. - I have the ability to develop specific expertise, discern patterns of complex threat actor behavior, and communicate an understanding of current and emerging cyber threats. - I can leverage online research tools to identify and navigate online forums, specialized websites, social media, and traditional sources. - I am experienced in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources to document results and analyze findings for advanced threat intelligence. - I possess strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - I have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. - I can present findings and conclusions clearly and concisely at all levels of staff, management, and vendors. - Certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or other related Information Security credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

- I conduct intelligence collection, triage, and analysis of information obtained through various intelligence sources. - I research threat actor groups, malware, exploit methods, and vulnerabilities. - I perform advanced technical intelligence analysis of cyber threats using analytical tradecraft methods and forensic tools. - I maintain relationships with peer organizations through trusted communities of interest. - I track known malicious infrastructure and rapidly identify new malicious infrastructure using intelligence techniques. - I provide analysis on threats impersonating our brand and assess high-impact vulnerabilities. - I research dark web actors and trends impacting the Financial Services Industry. - I perform threat modeling of high-priority threats and author reports on cyber threat trends and strategic analysis of worldwide events. - I contribute intelligence analysis to determine country-specific cybersecurity risks and provide input for an intelligence collection plan. - I network with external organizations and assist in developing relationships with internal stakeholders. - I utilize both commercial and open sources (OSINT) for information collection in support of my assigned duties. - I employ a combination of OSINT research, network, and host forensic analysis, along with log review and correlation to support investigations. - I develop comprehensive intelligence reports describing threats and their tactics for a wide range of audiences. - I produce internal documentation, such as detailed procedures, playbooks, and operational metrics reports as required. - I execute daily ad hoc tasks or lead small projects as needed while providing supporting research to longer-term analytic projects assigned to me.
