Azure Platform Engineer

- Operate and maintain shared platform services such as Kubernetes clusters, API runtimes, and messaging systems. - Monitor the health of the platform using various metrics and dashboards; proactively resolve reliability issues. - Participate in production support and on-call rotations, adhering to established runbooks and escalation procedures. - Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and reusable templates for application teams. - Automate routine operational tasks including deployments, upgrades, and service account management. - Assist in the onboarding of new services and APIs onto the platform. - Collaborate with cloud services (primarily Azure) covering aspects like networking, IAM, and managed PaaS offerings. - Aid in platform upgrades and compatibility testing of essential components. - Work closely with network, security, and SRE teams to implement infrastructure changes. - Implement and manage security controls such as TLS, RBAC, and vulnerability remediation. - Support compliance and audit processes with precise documentation. - Maintain adherence to platform governance standards and change management processes. - Collaborate with application and API teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance developer experience. - Contribute to the creation of documentation and knowledge bases, promote improvement suggestions for platform design and operations.
