Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Over 5 years of experience in application engineering and test automation
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining applications on common platforms such as Service Now, Pega, SharePoint Online, MuleSoft, and Dynamics 365
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies, including Agile/SAFe/CICD
- Proficiency in application security, Cloud technologies, and Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with programming languages and tools like SQL, Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS, including modern frameworks and libraries
- Knowledge of database structures, web technologies, and technical applications
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, performance, and automated testing procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and enhance high-quality applications or COTS products using a variety of programming languages, APIs, and automation frameworks
- Collaborate with product, operations, business teams, and vendors to investigate defects, production incidents, and root causes, providing timely resolutions
- Implement and refine automation solutions leveraging AI to minimize manual tasks, strengthen controls, and enhance processing efficiency
- Ensure that all solutions comply with security, audit, risk, and compliance standards, focusing on access controls, data integrity, and security measures
- Lead the planning, execution, and management of releases, including validation and post-release support
- Build and run automated test suites using enterprise tools and frameworks, creating strategies for test data and validation mechanisms for complex financial scenarios
- Develop solutions that comply with industry standards and our organizations coding and design guidelines
- Conduct and engage in peer reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to uphold high-quality results
- Identify and resolve issues related to application functionality, performance, and bugs, escalating as necessary
- Contribute to team projects and initiatives, fostering collective achievement and ongoing improvement
- Provide on-call support as required
