Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Over 5 years of experience in application or software development engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Cloud technologies (HCM and ERP-PVM) and Ivalua SaaS applications, providing architectural and design direction across integrations and extensions.
- Practical experience in creating, developing, and maintaining web services and integrations (REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, SFTP), emphasizing secure authentication/authorization and effective error handling.
- Proven expertise in developing and managing complex integration workflows in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Solid experience with API design and management, including specification, versioning, and integration patterns.
- Strong familiarity with Oracle Cloud application stack and tools used across PVM—such as BI Publisher/OTBI, Redwood, Application Framework (OAF), and APEX.
- Proficient in Git and GitHub, covering modern branching practices, pull request workflows, and release tagging.
- Exceptional skills in translating business requirements into practical technical designs, including advanced data modeling and analytics.
- Skilled in Oracle 10g, Core Java, JDeveloper, HTML, JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting, and PL/SQL.
- Experience configuring BPM approval workflows while ensuring compliance with business rules.
- Advanced understanding of software development methodologies (including Agile) and modern engineering practices.
- Proficient in programming languages and tools like SQL, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
- Solid grasp of database structures, web technologies, and application architectures for scalable solutions.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proven track record in resolving complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication abilities for conveying intricate technical concepts to a diverse audience.
- Experience with software testing, quality assurance, and performance optimization for stable applications.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, customer support tools, and knowledge bases for efficient incident management.
- Experience applying data structures and algorithms to enhance performance and scalability.
- Capable of managing projects independently and advancing the development of engineering standards and practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance software applications to address business needs and improve user experiences.
- Utilize the full software development lifecycle for efficient system improvements, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and team members to gather and refine requirements into concrete technical specifications.
- Create advanced, clear, and scalable code that meets industry best practices and adheres to organizational coding standards.
- Implement efficient data structures and algorithms to optimize code characteristics such as performance and user experience.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex application functionality issues and enhance system quality.
- Lead smaller projects while cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders and driving success through teamwork and consistency.
- Contribute to the establishment and adherence to application and software development engineering policies and standards.
- Engage in ongoing learning from individual and collective experiences, promoting growth through collaboration and feedback.
