Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
- Proven experience in Java development
- Familiarity with Java/JEE, Python, C/C++, SQL, SOAP, WSDL, WADL, PERL, PowerShell, VBS, Eclipse, Postgres, Oracle, Jenkins
- Experience in Web Application User Interface Development
- Knowledge of databases and structures
- Familiarity with JSON, HTML, XML, and XSLT
- Experience with cryptographic systems and principles
- Development experience on Windows and/or Linux operating systems
- Documented experience with web services
- Strong understanding of software development principles
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
- Successful completion of one of the following criteria:
- Senior: 7 years in software engineering with a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Expert: 14 years in software engineering with a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Subject Matter Expert: 20 years in software engineering with a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Engage in software development as part of an agile team
- Transform agile stories into actionable software concepts
- Participate in program increment planning and team activities
- Analyze complex system requirements and apply design techniques using CASE tools
- Ensure that developed code is efficient, reliable, and reusable
- Provide process management throughout the software development lifecycle
- Facilitate code reuse and cross-program collaboration
- Create common functions and shared actions for developers and testers
- Engineer, author, and document automation scripts in a development environment
- Deploy automation scripts to testing and production environments
