Requirements

Must:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required. - Minimum of 12 years of experience in a senior software Configuration Management position on a significant technical program. - At least 8 years of experience with software configuration management tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, Eclipse, etc. - Strong professional understanding of configuration management best practices. - Proven experience in developing and maintaining installation procedures and documenting standard configuration settings for hardware and software systems. - Experience in providing software lifecycle solutions within Agile environments. - Extensive experience in tracking software, hardware, and configuration status across software development systems, test environments, and operational sites. - Skilled in developing innovative solutions for COTS tool integration. - Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, & Project) and team collaboration software (Confluence, SharePoint, OneNote, etc.). - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly conveying technical concepts. - Self-driven and resourceful, capable of independently managing daily tasks, projects, and processes. - Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective working relationships with peers and leadership, including developers, engineers, testers, and customers.

Responsibilities

- Manage a complex configuration management system using tools like IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM), Jenkins, Git, Maven, and/or Eclipse. - Establish and enforce processes, policies, and procedures to ensure proper version control for hardware and software products. - Assist project teams with the configuration and baselining of hardware and software products. - Utilize CM tools for storing, tracking, and managing configuration items. - Maintain and develop the configuration management environment for software product builds, staging, testing, and integration. - Design software product build scripts and procedures, integrating them with hardware and software build processes. - Suggest and incorporate automated configuration management tools. - Implement and oversee change control processes. - Participate in the creation and delivery of training sessions for CM tools. - Develop, execute, and deliver reports as needed. - Gather, analyze, and report metrics for internal performance evaluation. - Identify and report instances of non-compliance. - Conduct and facilitate configuration management audits of controlled configuration items. - Review existing CM processes and recommend improvements. - Support program governance boards like the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Engineering Review Board (ERB).
