Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or Masters degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 9 years of pertinent experience with a Bachelors degree, or 7 years with a Masters degree
- CompTIA certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+ (preferred)
- Proficient in managing MS Windows clients and servers within a network
- System administration capabilities including Active Directory, Group Policy Management, and user/computer management
- Experience with virtual environments, including the creation and upkeep of server VMs and golden images
Responsibilities
- Oversee configurations of network devices and execute hardware/software installations
- Manage Windows operating systems, related group policies, Linux servers, and commercial off-the-shelf software
- Support and enhance cybersecurity initiatives, identify system vulnerabilities, and assure regulatory compliance
- Develop and troubleshoot custom in-house software tools
- Provide innovative IT solutions while leading technical projects and offering IT support for the Naval Reactors program
- Collaborate effectively with Navy personnel, other departments, and vendors as necessary
