Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Masters degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Currently serving as a Senior Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at our company
- Development experience with C#, Java, Python, Go, or other programming languages
- Understanding of software engineering practices and software lifecycle models
- Familiarity with containerized deployments utilizing Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience in developing automated unit tests
- Knowledge of database architectures
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage critical applications for operation within Navy submarines and aircraft carriers
- Conduct research to innovate and conceive advanced software solutions
- Collaborate with a supportive team that values mentorship and forward-thinking ideas
- Engage in practical application of software development skills to enhance operational capabilities
- Lead projects that contribute to military technology advancements
