Requirements
Must:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (BS, MS, or PhD) from an accredited institution
- Must have completed at least one full year of college by January 2027
- Enrolled in a degree program throughout the duration of the co-op assignment
- Cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 is preferred
- Previous internship, co-op, or related work experience is a plus (either paid or volunteer)
- Familiarity with the Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Defense (DOD), or Naval Nuclear Program is desirable
- Unofficial college transcripts and a resume including anticipated graduation date must be submitted with the application
Responsibilities
- Participate actively as a member of a cybersecurity team
- Attend and contribute to team meetings
- Engage in hands-on experience by developing and working on cybersecurity projects
- Document a formal recommendation outlining the teams solution to a specific problem
- Present findings and projects to management, peers, and other employees
- Network with executives and peers through various opportunities provided by the program
- Explore multiple cybersecurity career pathways available at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory
