Requirements

Must:
### - Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience). - Experience: 2–4+ years of hands-on experience in e-commerce development, specifically with a focus on Adobe Commerce / Magento 2. - Technical Skills: - Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL. - Comprehensive understanding of Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) architecture, theming, and module creation. - Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. - Familiarity with React and Tailwind CSS, or a willingness to learn. - Experience with API integrations (REST/GraphQL) and version control systems (Git). - Understanding of Linux server environments and cloud hosting. - Knowledge of PCI compliance, data security best practices, and overall web security. - Basic understanding of AI/ML models used in e-commerce and a willingness to engage with AI tools. ###

Responsibilities

- Platform Development & Customization: - Establish, configure, and maintain Adobe Commerce to ensure smooth operation and security. - Assist in transitioning from Magento to Adobe Commerce Cloud, focusing on data integrity and uptime. - Create or modify front-end themes that resonate with our brand and enhance conversions. - Install and set up third-party extensions and custom modules to extend Adobe Commerce features. - Front-End Implementation: - Design responsive layouts that adapt seamlessly to various devices. - Apply UI/UX best practices to enhance user experience and minimize cart abandonment. - Ensure cross-browser compatibility by testing and addressing layout or scripting issues. - Back-End Development & Integration: - Optimize product/catalog management and integrate with ERP or external systems. - Link Adobe Commerce with CRMs and analytics tools for smoother operations. - Develop APIs for consistent communication between Adobe Commerce and external services. - Security & Compliance: - Implement secure payment processes and adhere to industry standards. - Ensure compliance with data protection regulations. - Regularly update Adobe Commerce and extensions to mitigate vulnerabilities. - Performance Optimization: - Enhance site speed through code optimization and server configuration. - Prepare hosting strategies for seasonal traffic and growth. - Utilize caching and CDNs to boost performance and reliability. - Testing & Quality Assurance: - Conduct functional testing of e-commerce processes to ensure flawless operation. - Collaborate with stakeholders for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Perform regression testing post-deployment to prevent issues. - Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work: - Work alongside designers and marketers on projects to boost conversion rates. - Translate business objectives into actionable technical solutions. - Provide support in troubleshooting site issues and guiding non-technical teams. - Strategy, Innovation & AI Readiness: - Suggest and prioritize new features, including AI-driven implementations. - Use data to enhance funnel performance and drive sales. - Contribute ideas related to AI integration as we explore in-house solutions. ###
