Requirements
Must:
- 1–2 years of experience in delivering technical support within a professional or educational environment
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience and/or certifications
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Active Directory, and managing file server permissions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities with a follow-through mentality
- Team-oriented approach with a readiness to assist colleagues across various departments
- Ability to lift, transport, and set up computers and mobile devices across different locations
- Effective time-management skills with the capability to prioritize multiple requests
- Willingness to occasionally work during nights, weekends, or on program closure days as required
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1–2 technical assistance throughout the organization
- Install, set up, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and scanners
- Offer support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, desk phones, and classroom technologies
- Help maintain computer systems, devices, and ensure network connectivity
- Monitor and address service requests promptly through the Freshdesk ticketing platform
- Escalate and route service requests to the appropriate team members when necessary
- Diagnose technical issues, perform repairs, or coordinate equipment replacement
- Assist in the deployment of new technologies, applications, and system updates
- Travel to different buildings to provide on-site support as required
