Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Extensive practical experience with SolarWinds products (e.g., NPM, NCM, SAM)
- Advanced SQL skills for developing, fine-tuning, and troubleshooting queries and reports
- Proven ability to install, upgrade, and resolve issues in SolarWinds systems
- Experience in designing and managing dashboards within SolarWinds
- Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and monitoring principles
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SolarWinds network monitoring systems and components
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to produce customized and ad-hoc reports
- Design, create, and manage dashboards in SolarWinds for visualizing performance metrics, alerts, and system statuses
- Diagnose and resolve SolarWinds performance issues to ensure optimal functionality and reliability
- Analyze monitoring data to identify trends and recommend enhancements
- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate monitoring and reporting needs and deliver effective solutions
- Document system configurations, processes, troubleshooting protocols, and reporting procedures
- Offer expertise and guidance on best practices and capabilities of SolarWinds
- Assist in ongoing system improvements, patches, and integrations
- Mentor and provide training to junior team members as necessary
