Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline
- Significant experience in Release Management and complete release lifecycle responsibility
- Practical experience with ServiceNow and Remedy for managing changes and incidents
- Proficiency in using Jira for release tracking and Confluence for documentation
- Demonstrated experience in managing cutover activities and extensive production deployments
- Background in supporting enterprise-level applications across various environments
- Strong knowledge of release governance, risk assessment, and compliance
- Exceptional coordination, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Capacity to manage multiple concurrent releases in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Supervise the entire release lifecycle from planning through deployment and post-release assessment
- Establish and maintain release calendars, schedules, and roadmaps for various applications and teams
- Coordinate releases among development, QA, UAT, and production settings
- Ensure compliance with enterprise release management standards and policies
- Monitor and address release dependencies, risks, and impacts across teams
- Plan and implement detailed cutover activities including runbooks, timelines, and contingency strategies
- Lead release bridges and coordination meetings during critical deployments
- Manage go-live activities and ensure successful transitions to production
- Validate readiness for deployment, including environment stability and approval processes
- Oversee post-release verification and coordination of production support handoff
- Utilize ServiceNow and Remedy for effective change, incident, and release management
- Manage release tracking, backlog coordination, and issue resolution via Jira
- Maintain comprehensive release documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases in Confluence
- Ensure proper change approvals, audit trails, and compliance documentation are sustained
- Standardize release processes and continuously enhance deployment workflows
- Provide support during production deployments, including issue identification and resolution
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and support teams to address release-related incidents
- Facilitate root cause analysis and reviews for unsuccessful releases
- Ensure effective escalation and communication during critical situations
- Support large-scale, high-volume releases across multiple applications
- Act as the main coordination hub for business, development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
- Communicate release status, risks, and impacts to stakeholders and leadership
- Lead meetings for release readiness and manage go/no-go decision points
- Align release actions with Agile/Scrum development cycles
- Ensure detailed documentation of release scope, timelines, and outputs
