Requirements
Must:
- Must possess an active Top Secret Clearance
- Willingness to work onsite
- Bachelors Degree required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Pega Development (certification not mandatory)
- Familiarity with design, architecture, development, and systems administration
- Ability to monitor systems for structural integrity
- Experience overseeing the installation of hardware and software
- Proficiency in installing and configuring operating systems and ensuring software functionality
- Capability to provide technical guidance to IT support staff
- Skills in designing and implementing security systems and backups
- Experience writing custom scripts for automation
- Knowledge in developing scalable solutions for diverse customer needs
- Ability to write tests for existing and new code for compatibility and stability
- Familiarity with evaluating and implementing automated testing tools and strategies
- Skills in designing and executing test procedures to meet system requirements
- Experience in resolving network-related issues for LAN/MAN/WAN systems
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior team members and users to gather and analyze business needs
- Translate business requirements into tailored Pega 8 solutions
- Implement Pega solutions following platform best practices
- Assist the Lead Pega Developer in various development tasks from design to testing and deployment
- Responsible for coding and unit testing utilizing Pegas out-of-the-box features based on designs provided
- Maintain strong client relations by delivering timely and pertinent information, while swiftly identifying and communicating project risks
- Support the client teams post-delivery to ensure application functionality and perform knowledge transfer activities for sustained success
Description
We are seeking a Jr-Midlevel Pega Developer to join our team in Washington, DC, for a long-term contract role. This position offers a competitive rate of $45 per hour on W2, alongside additional benefits, excluding paid time off. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced team, gaining valuable insight and contributing to solutions that drive client success within the Pega 8 platform.
