Requirements
Must:
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred but not mandatory
- Relevant certifications beneficial
- Significant experience in a corporate technical support environment
- Proven background in technical support, customer service, or related fields
- Level 2 IT Support Technician experience required, no junior or entry-level applicants
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software
- Familiarity with network configurations and operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Understanding of IT security protocols
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to users, addressing hardware and software issues on desktop computers, laptops, and related peripherals
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, ensuring optimal system performance and security
- Evaluate new software and hardware solutions
- Respond to service requests and document solutions for common technical problems
- Communicate effectively with end-users to resolve technical concerns
- Offer technical guidance and training to users, enhancing the utilization of technology within the business
Description
We are seeking an IT Support Technician for a Contract position with a client located in Reserve, LA. This role offers a competitive pay range of $20-22/HR on W2.
