Requirements
Must:
- An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- At least five (5) years of Tier II or three (3) years of Tier III experience in cloud security or cybersecurity operations.
- Proven capability to design, implement, and maintain enterprise cloud security solutions within Azure environments.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Monitoring, and in security threat detection and analysis.
- Strong command of KQL for developing security reports, dashboards, and detection rules.
- Comprehensive understanding of Zero Trust security principles, cloud security frameworks, and federal cybersecurity compliance requirements.
- Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and investigative abilities across security monitoring platforms.
- Superior communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud security solutions that align with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Zero Trust, and TIC 3.0 security principles.
- Configure, oversee, and enhance Microsoft Sentinel for enterprise-level security operations, including incident detection, analysis, and response.
- Establish and uphold Azure Monitoring solutions, facilitating early identification of performance, security, and compliance issues.
- Identify, assess, and scrutinize threats across cloud and hybrid environments; assist in incident triage and response efforts.
- Create custom KQL (Kusto Query Language) queries for generating reports, dashboards, and alerts that improve visibility into security posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in IT, DevSecOps, and mission operations to reinforce security monitoring and governance.
- Document cloud security architectures, standard operating procedures, detection use cases, and operational runbooks.
- Offer expertise in advanced cloud security features (e.g., Defender for Cloud, Entra ID Conditional Access, Identity Protection) to bolster enterprise resilience.
