Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Appian BPM
- Must hold L2 and L3 Appian certifications
- Proven track record in designing business solutions that deliver tangible benefits
- Experience working on Agile projects
- Proficient in designing processes in Appian using both Analyst and Designer views
- Familiarity with Appian Smart Services
- Knowledgeable in Tempo Interface
- Expertise in developing and implementing Appian and web-based applications
- Capable of providing technical mentorship to mid-level developers as needed
- Skilled in collaborating with business users to translate requirements into technical designs for data mapping and loading
- Experience in building critical Appian-based applications and associated integration components
- Proficient in developing applications in Appian BPM and integrating them with other interfaces/products
- Strong problem-solving skills along with the ability to estimate and size Appian business requirements
- Proficient in debugging interfaces and process models
- Proven ability to collaborate closely with key business users
- Experienced in scenario-based requirements gathering
- Competent in designing, developing, and implementing advanced BPM solutions utilizing Appians AI and agentic capabilities
- Experienced in deploying and configuring Appian AI Skills, including generative AI prompts, document and text classification, data extraction, and sentiment analysis with low-code tools
- Experienced in creating processes that combine AI-driven automation with human oversight
- Knowledgeable in utilizing Appians Agent Studio to configure, deploy, and manage AI agents within structured workflows
Responsibilities
- Possess a solid understanding of the product, including BPM fundamentals, architectural components, and technical features such as configuration and design functionalities in Appian
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in designing and developing solutions in Appian BPM alongside components like Tempo, mobility features, forums, discussions, pages, smart services, reports, and deployment
- Exhibit considerable knowledge of Java, J2EE, Ajax, JavaScript, XML, and XSLT
- Attain Appian Analyst and Appian Designer Level certifications
- Lead and coordinate efforts among a distributed engineering team
- Experience handling multiple integrations with external systems
- Capable of scoping Appian projects effectively
