Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory engineering and architecture
- In-depth knowledge of identity and access management principles
- Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting and architectural design for hybrid environments
- Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, and trust relationships configuration
- Familiarity with certificate management and federation setup in ADFS
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation of AD/AAD tasks
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API for integration and automation purposes
- Ability to implement security measures such as MFA, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working in Agile methodologies
- Strategic thinking with a solid business mindset
- 8-10 years of relevant engineering and architecture experience in Active Directory and Azure AD
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred
- Knowledge of retail or enterprise IT environments is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design and establish technical standards for Active Directory and Azure AD
- Create and deploy secure, scalable identity solutions for hybrid infrastructures
- Formulate IAM policies, standards, and procedures in accordance with compliance regulations
- Manage Level 3 activities including critical incident resolution and complex troubleshooting
- Maintain and enhance Active Directory infrastructure components, such as DNS and GPOs
- Oversee Azure AD Connect Health portal for synchronization alerts and performance monitoring
- Set up and resolve issues related to Azure AD Connect and synchronization policies
- Enact SSO integrations using OAuth, OIDC, and SAML protocols
- Develop advanced PowerShell scripts and integrations with Graph API for automation tasks
- Implement multifactor authentication, conditional access, and privileged identity management
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and facilitate reporting
- Plan for disaster recovery of Azure Active Directory Connect and ADFS setups
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and lead technical governance discussions
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior engineering staff
- Engage in service reviews and contribute to strategic planning for IAM solutions
