Requirements
Must:
- A background in electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems is highly preferred.
- Strong grasp of instrument calibration methods, and experience with pressure, temperature, and flow measurement devices.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools such as multimeters, pressure calibrators, and HART communicators.
- Familiar with industrial communication standards like Modbus, CANbus, and Ethernet/IP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Ability to independently perform tasks with minimal supervision in field settings.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including long shifts (12+ hours), and be available on-call.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the capability to identify and promote products and services.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, test, and calibrate our products at client locations while adhering to safety and quality protocols.
- Provide on-site training to clients on the proper and safe operation of our equipment and software systems.
- Conduct field upgrades and maintenance on hardware and software components.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, company assets, and service records meticulously.
- Monitor drill activity and movements in designated areas; aid in the development of customer targeting strategies.
- Document and report on equipment performance, service activities, and client feedback within company systems.
- Suggest product or service improvements by assessing client needs and system effectiveness.
- Provide technical and sales assistance alongside account management teams.
- Collaborate closely with Field Leads and fellow technicians to ensure service consistency and alignment.
- Uphold and advocate for company safety standards consistently.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisors or field support management.
