Requirements
Must:
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll operations, or HR shared services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail and independent judgment on operational matters
- Proven experience in leading projects, enhancing processes, and mentoring team members
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach across teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for employee and manager inquiries, offering guidance on Shared Services processes, programs, and procedures, while escalating complex issues when necessary
- Oversee and review employee timecard submissions and approvals across all time sources to ensure accuracy in Oracle Fusion, analyze discrepancies, collaborate with IT to resolve complex issues, and ensure timely payroll processing
- Audit and reconcile HRIS and payroll data for accuracy, analyze discrepancies and trends, collaborate with IT to address complex issues, and escalate risks to uphold compliance and data integrity
- Participate in HRIS and timekeeping system upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation efforts to improve system functionality and user experience
- Handle employee lifecycle transactions from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring precise HRIS documentation, adherence to established procedures, and appropriate escalation of complex issues
- Provide expertise across talent acquisition operations, aiding in job postings, applicant tracking, onboarding coordination, and compliance documentation
- Identify and implement enhancements in People Operations processes while actively contributing to projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
- Offer operational support ensuring alignment with DISA objectives and compliance standards
- Complete additional tasks as needed to support departmental and organizational goals
