Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of experience working with an ERP system (such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, NetSuite, etc.)
- Foundational understanding of the Accounts Receivable lifecycle, including:
- Invoicing
- Receivables
- Adjustments and credits
- Cash application
- Basic understanding of how ERP systems support financial processes
- Strong desire to learn and develop in a complex enterprise environment
- Good communication skills and readiness to ask questions
- Exposure to Oracle Financials (R12 or Fusion) is preferred
- Basic SQL knowledge or willingness to learn is preferred
- Experience supporting financial or accounting teams is preferred
- Familiarity with month-end close processes is preferred
- Experience working in an integrated system environment is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for Oracle R12 Accounts Receivable processes
- Assist with invoicing and billing support
- Provide cash application assistance
- Respond to customer account inquiries
- Learn and support the comprehensive AR and revenue lifecycle within Oracle
- Support AR month-end close activities under the guidance of senior team members
- Aid in AR reconciliations
- Assist with subledger to GL balancing
- Investigate posting or accounting issues
- Participate in close cycles to understand financial controls and timing
- Assist in investigating issues related to custom billing applications and third-party/legacy system integrations
- Learn to analyze interface errors, transaction failures, and data inconsistencies across systems
- Escalate issues appropriately with clear documentation
- Collaborate with AR, Finance, and Operations teams to understand reported issues
- Help translate business inquiries into system-level analysis
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Participate in enhancement and project work under the direction of senior team members
- Assist with testing (SIT/UAT), documentation, and process mapping
- Build functional and technical knowledge of Oracle R12 over time
