Requirements

Must:
- 7+ years of experience in product management, software development, or digital product roles - 3+ years of practical product management experience with web or cloud-based applications - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field - Deep knowledge of contemporary web technologies, cloud platforms, and software development lifecycles - Proven capability to articulate product vision and convert it into actionable roadmaps - Established track record of leading cross-functional teams to achieve complex digital product goals - Strong data proficiency, including establishing metrics, analyzing usage analytics, and making insight-driven decisions - Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) or comparable tools for managing backlogs and product deployment - Excellent written and oral communication abilities - Preferred: MBA or Masters degree in technology, analytics, or business-related fields - Preferred: Experience with cloud-native platforms, data analytics, or enterprise SaaS solutions - Preferred: Background in industrial, energy, or operational technology sectors - Preferred: Experience collaborating closely with UX/UI designers and visualization tools - Preferred: Previous roles in customer-facing or commercial support positions

Responsibilities

- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and effectively share the product vision for cloud applications that enhance real-time and post-job drilling tasks, aligning business goals and user requirements into a unified, long-term product strategy. - Product Roadmap Development: Create, update, and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring it aligns with business strategy, customer needs, and technical viability. - Web & Cloud Product Leadership: Spearhead the creation of modern, scalable web applications, closely collaborating with engineering on areas such as architecture, performance, security, scalability, and reliability within drilling operations. - Drilling Operations Context & Validation: Design cloud applications with a comprehensive understanding of drilling processes, operational limitations, and practical field insights. Validate product choices through consistent engagement with rig operations, engineers, and end users to ensure the solutions are feasible and deliver measurable performance enhancements. - Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Collaborate with a diverse product team, encompassing software developers, product designers, data scientists, and operational staff to produce high-quality cloud solutions. - Requirements & Execution: Convert product vision into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance standards. Manage backlog prioritization and execution to ensure effective value delivery. - Stakeholder & Customer Engagement: Act as the main product liaison with internal stakeholders and customers to collect feedback, confirm assumptions, and guarantee that solutions provide tangible value. - Market & Competitive Strategy: Keep a solid understanding of the drilling technology environment, including trends in drilling data analytics, automation, and decision support tools used by operators and contractors. Evaluate competitive and alternative solutions to shape product strategies, differentiation, and positioning. - New Feature & Product Launches: Strategically plan and carry out feature releases and product debuts, coordinating with engineering, commercial, marketing, and operational teams for successful adoption. - Marketing Collaboration: Contribute to the development of marketing communication materials that effectively promote the product and its attributes. - Industry Representation: Represent the company at trade events and networking gatherings to enhance visibility and build industry relationships.
