Requirements
Must:
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Over 10 years of experience in systems engineering supporting Navy C4I programs
- Extensive knowledge in systems design, integration, testing, and implementation within DoD environments
- Proven track record of transitioning low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) technologies into operational systems
- Strong leadership, collaboration, communication, and documentation abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of DoD systems engineering standards and security regulations
- History of delivering mission-critical solutions in complex DoD contexts
- Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification
- Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Preferred: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
Responsibilities
- Lead the adoption of low TRL Information System technologies into operational DoD C4I systems
- Provide technical direction throughout the systems engineering life cycle, encompassing design, integration, testing, implementation, and sustainment
- Collaborate with diverse technical teams, stakeholders, and program leadership to meet mission goals
- Ensure adherence to DoD systems engineering standards and cybersecurity compliance
- Deliver intricate engineering solutions within agreed timelines and scopes, aligned with program milestones
- Keep precise documentation throughout the engineering processes
