Information Assurance Engineer

- Collaborate with system owners to promptly close IAVMs/ICVMs and establish Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) per DoD directives - Offer Defense in Depth principles and technologies in security engineering design and execution - Evaluate current and future systems to develop engineering solutions for integrating information security requirements - Implement security risk assessment methodologies during system development, including network penetration testing and antivirus deployment - Conduct activities of the Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), including forensic analysis - Plan and manage Defense in Depth strategies for networks, covering scanning, remediation, intrusion detection/prevention, firewalls, and more - Identify and mitigate system security threats throughout the program lifecycle - Verify and review System Security Plans for compliance across enterprise architectures - Maintain Agencys public key infrastructure system and manage PKI certificates - Provide communications security rekeying support and prepare secure communications devices - Execute Security Risk Assessments to analyze resources, controls, and threats, and implement necessary countermeasures - Complete other responsibilities as assigned
