Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- More than 15 years of pertinent experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives
- Familiarity with aerospace and/or industry strategy settings
- Comprehensive understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST standards
- Proficiency in cybersecurity policies, programs, and best practices
- Documented capability to oversee projects from initiation to completion, managing scope, resources, timelines, and risks
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities with a proactive problem-solving approach
- Capability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with team members and senior management
- Exceptional communication skills, able to convey complex concepts and strategies clearly
- Acknowledged as a subject matter expert or leader within the cybersecurity domain
- Masters degree in Arts (MA), Science (MS), or Engineering (ME)
- Relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education
- DoD 8170 IASAE Level III certification (IAM Level III with suitable experience may also qualify as a substitute)
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical direction to project teams engaged in mission-critical DoD initiatives
- Lead the research, design, and development activities to fulfill program requirements and specifications
- Supervise the technical delivery of major initiatives, ensuring adherence to performance, schedule, and financial goals
- Assess and monitor design aspects, including cost implications, timelines, and technical consequences
- Identify and evaluate risks, offering actionable recommendations for mitigating impacts on program execution
- Ensure outputs meet quality benchmarks and align with operational and combat objectives
- Promote cooperation among cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project targets
- Initiate, refine, and manage project requirements throughout the entire lifecycle
- Conduct studies, data analysis, and evaluations to assist in strategic decision-making
