Must:
We seek candidates with deep expertise in scalable and high-performance server system architecture, particularly focusing on software and hardware interfaces. Extensive experience with complex system software for accelerators such as GPUs, DPUs, and FPGAs is essential. Mastery of system firmware (including SBIOS and OpenBMC), embedded systems, and Linux kernel internals is required. Proficiency in both Out-of-Band and In-Band management architectures, device management protocols (like MCTP, PLDM, SPDM, RDE), and system management protocols (such as Redfish and IPMI) is necessary. Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of networking technologies and protocols, covering TCP/IP, Ethernet, InfiniBand, and advanced switching and routing concepts. Experience in collaborating with platform security experts to define trade-offs between security and usability is a must. Successful candidates will demonstrate their ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects to completion, influencing results without direct authority in large collaborative environments and displaying a track record of implementing left shift strategies to mitigate risks. A BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) along with 20+ years of expertise in system architecture and design is preferred.
Responsibilities
As our primary technical contact for major clients, you will lead technological discussions, define KPIs, gather requirements, and address complex technical inquiries. In the role of system software architect, you will drive technical innovation and strategic collaborations with major hyperscalers to design next-generation data center products. You will align our roadmap with client requirements through direct engagement, develop and promote the adoption of new technologies and protocols, and make critical technical decisions in ambiguous situations, implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
