Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes internals (scheduler, CRI/CNI/CSI, operators) and Slurm (federation, power-save, plugins)
- Hands-on experience integrating next-gen GPUs (Blackwell/GB200/GB300) or similar accelerators into containerized environments
- Proven experience resolving issues within large-scale, cloud-native architectures across networking (RDMA/RoCE), storage, and control planes
- Background in customer-facing engineering or solutions architecture: gathering requirements, owning PoCs, influencing roadmaps
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Tekton), observability tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry), and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong communication skills, able to navigate between intricate technical details and overarching business impacts
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software development in distributed systems (Go, Rust, C/C++, or Python for tooling)
- Bachelors or Masters degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth debugging of multi-rack, multi-tenant clusters: analyze scheduler behavior, container runtime issues, device-plugin failures, and RDMA/IB fabric anomalies
- Capture customer requirements and prototype feature enhancements for Kubernetes operators, Slurm plugins, and custom microservices that introduce novel GPU capabilities
- Facilitate joint architecture assessments and brainstorming sessions with CSP and internal platform teams; translate insights into RFCs and upstream pull requests
- Develop reproducible test environments (Helm/Ansible/Terraform) reflecting customer setups; automate validation and benchmarking procedures
- Generate technical materials including design documents, how-to guides, and demo scripts; present at customer sites, KubeCon, and SlurmUG
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Field Application Engineers, and Solution Architects to deliver cohesive customer solutions and technical documentation
