Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge in scalable and high-performance server system architecture, particularly focused on software/hardware interfaces.
- Significant experience with complex system software for accelerators including GPUs, DPUs, and FPGAs.
- Strong expertise in system firmware (SBIOS, OpenBMC), embedded systems, and Linux kernel internals.
- Competence in Out-of-Band and In-Band management architectures, as well as various device management protocols (e.g., MCTP, PLDM, SPDM, RDE) and system management protocols (Redfish, IPMI).
- Comprehensive understanding of networking technologies and protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, InfiniBand, as well as advanced concepts in switching and routing.
- Proven track record in collaborating with security specialists to balance security concerns with user accessibility.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead complex, cross-functional projects to fruition, showing the capability to influence and deliver results in large, collaborative environments without direct authority.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Over 15 years of experience in system architecture and design.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main technical liaison for significant clients, steering technical discussions, defining key performance indicators, collecting specifications, and resolving intricate technical inquiries.
- Take the lead as a system software architect, driving technical innovation and forging strategic partnerships with major hyperscalers to design the next generation of data center products.
- Align NVIDIAs product roadmap with the demands of primary customers through direct collaboration.
- Create and promote the use of new technologies and communication protocols.
- Make pivotal technical decisions in uncertain situations, reducing risks through proactive strategies.
