Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role
- In-depth understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and SMTP
- Familiarity with network devices and technologies such as VLANs
- Knowledge of network security measures such as SSL, IPSec, and Firewalls
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for network issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Eagerness to learn and enhance technical expertise
- Must be legally authorized to live and work in the country of application without visa support or sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing network infrastructure solutions that align with business needs
- Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Monitor network performance and address network-related issues promptly
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of network infrastructure with other systems
- Implement and uphold network security protocols to defend against unauthorized access
- Help manage network upgrades and migrations
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network connectivity and performance challenges
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, procedures, and configurations
Description
We are looking for an Associate Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, maintenance, and documentation of our communication network infrastructure. This position will report directly to the Senior Network Engineer and/or the CTO. We offer a competitive salary range of $63,128.36 - $76,025.55 per year, along with benefits including a 401(k), dental and health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance. Our work environment is in-person, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
