Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in managing low voltage, security, or electrical projects
- Strong background in construction scheduling
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Bluebeam and Procore software
- Experience in creating and maintaining Gantt charts
- Solid understanding of budgeting and cost management
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
- PMP certification is highly desirable
- Valid drivers license
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initiation to final turnover
- Develop and uphold comprehensive project schedules using Gantt charts
- Monitor milestones, labor distribution, procurement, and deadlines
- Ensure projects are executed on time and within budget
- Identify risks and proactively resolve issues before they escalate
- Maintain clear visibility on project progress to prevent any oversights
- Create detailed schedules with weekly updates
- Collaborate with general contractors, site superintendents, and other trades
- Administer manpower planning and deployment
- Keep track of material lead times and procurement schedules
- Foster accountability among field teams and subcontractors
- Review technical specifications and plans
- Submit and monitor RFIs (Requests for Information)
- Manage submittals and final documentation
- Keep project files accurate and organized
- Track change orders and alterations in scope
- Ensure documentation is tidy and ready for audits
- Act as the primary client contact during project execution
- Lead internal project meetings
- Work closely with field supervisors
- Provide regular updates to management
- Cultivate strong relationships with general contractors and property managers
