Requirements
Must:
- At least 5 years of practical experience in:
- Cisco networking (routing, switching, wireless)
- Cisco Webex Calling and/or CUCM
- Fortinet firewalls
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, VPNs, and network security concepts
- Experience in supporting VoIP and SIP-based systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional client-facing communication skills
- Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP, or higher)
- Fortinet NSE certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions (preferred)
- Experience in cloud networking (Azure/AWS) (preferred)
- Background in consulting or managed service provider (MSP) roles (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Cisco-based LAN/WAN networks
- Configure and oversee Cisco routers, switches, wireless devices, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
- Deploy and manage Cisco Webex Calling and/or Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
- Create dial plans, SIP integrations, and voice gateways, and troubleshoot VoIP issues
- Configure and oversee Fortinet (FortiGate) firewalls, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), NAT, and security protocols
- Conduct network evaluations, offer recommendations, and produce client documentation
- Spearhead migrations, upgrades, and security enhancement projects
- Provide Level 3 troubleshooting and escalation assistance
