Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in software design, engineering, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem-solving
- Proficiency in software development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or MSFT Power Platform
- CompTIA SecurityX (formerly CASP+) certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Ability to work independently on software design and engineering tasks
- Competency to operate at the highest technical level in all phases of applications programming
- Top Secret clearance is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Independently design and develop new software products or significantly enhance existing ones
- Potentially lead a team in creating complex software systems
- Serve as the primary technical authority, resolving system integration, compatibility, and multi-platform issues
- Create, code, test, debug, and document various software programs
- Conduct code reviews for junior developers and peers
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team to implement and uphold a Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) aligned with NIST SP 800-63 RMF and the Department of Defenses implementation of RMF
- Modify procedures to address complex challenges while considering computer equipment capacity and operational constraints
