Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree with a minimum of two years of relevant experience OR
- Bachelors degree with at least three years of relevant experience OR
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and pertinent experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities in technical and non-technical contexts
- Proficiency in documenting technical specifications, root cause analysis, and resolutions
- Strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience working within both waterfall and agile project management frameworks
- Ability to adhere to stringent quality control standards, ensuring unit and integration tests meet business requirements
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and evaluative skills for complex technical challenges
- (Preferred) Experience in ERP system development or analysis, particularly with PeopleSoft systems
- (Preferred) Background in Student Information Systems
- (Preferred) Familiarity with Oracle SQL
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior programmer/analyst for the Student Information Systems team
- Collaborate closely with customers in various departments to develop, support, and maintain the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions system
- Analyze functional business processes and develop advanced technical solutions with minimal supervision
- Work with management and team members to assess change requests and define specifications
- Code applications, integrate systems, and develop testing plans including unit, system, and load tests
- Provide support for production and perform system maintenance as necessary
- Offer technical and functional guidance to junior team members
- Lead initiatives that are of moderate to high complexity
- Ensure that developed solutions meet alignment with business needs
- Execute other assigned duties as required
