Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience, or a similar combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills for both Windows and Mac OS systems.
- Familiarity with IT management tools such as SCCM and Jamf.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders including faculty, staff, and IT partners.
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of IT support experience in veterinary, medical, or clinical settings within higher education.
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting classroom audio/visual systems.
- Preferred: Experience with coding or programming languages.
- Preferred: Knowledge of database management, system security, and regulatory compliance.
- Preferred: Familiarity with the ServiceNow ticketing system.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional IT desktop support to faculty, staff, and students of the College of Veterinary Medicine.
- Assist in A/V projects and support as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to both Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure optimal user experience.
- Maintain communication with users regarding the status of their issues and requests.
- Document and track issues within the appropriate IT systems.
