Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Geospatial Information Science & Technology or equivalent experience and coursework. - Proficient in Esri platforms, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online. - Experience in web mapping and configuring Esri web applications, such as StoryMaps. - Strong skills in spatial data management, including sourcing and cleaning datasets and maintaining compliant metadata. - Solid understanding of cartographic principles to create effective static and interactive maps. - Knowledge of spatial analysis fundamentals and workflows related to suitability modeling and spatial overlay. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of transforming complex technical processes into accessible documentation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for pattern interpretation.

Responsibilities

- Develop and manage the ArcGIS Online environment for the APNEP project, including maps and dashboards. - Integrate open datasets from multiple agencies into the platform. - Implement spatial planning algorithms based on wetland suitability criteria. - Maintain metadata and ensure version control for platform stability. - Create high-quality maps and interactive visualizations to support spatial planning initiatives. - Design user-friendly interfaces for various stakeholders, including planners and community groups. - Produce symbology, legends, and infographics to aid decision-making from complex data. - Prepare materials for community presentations and STAC meetings. - Facilitate workshops with demonstrations and technical support to engage participants. - Document workflows and create user guides while training staff for ongoing tool maintenance. - Provide regular updates and deliverables in line with project objectives.
