Requirements
Must:
- U.S. citizenship required and an active secret clearance is a plus. At minimum, must be eligible for security clearance
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Familiarity with Open Data Distribution Services (DDS)
- Proven experience with service-oriented architectures
- Background in system integration, testing, and performance analysis
- Experience with Test First Development methodologies
- Support experience in software/firmware
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Writing firmware for FPGA implementations
- Designing and developing firmware and drivers for Software-Defined Radio (SDR)
- Creating firmware algorithms and drivers for power control, USB communications, USB Type C Power Delivery, and UART communication packets
- Architecting, designing, and implementing distributed systems with PLCs and other embedded devices
- Debugging firmware and component levels and resolving complex issues
- Knowledgeable in GPS or navigation systems, software-defined radios, and digital signal processing concepts
- Mentoring junior engineers in engineering principles and best practices through hands-on projects
