Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 8 years of extensive experience in software design for microprocessor-based products (specifically Renesas RA Family, Tiva C Series).
- Proficient in C or C++ programming languages with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Familiarity with multitasking environments, RTOS, and IDEs such as IAR, E2 Studio, and Eclipse.
- Proven experience in developing and troubleshooting multithreaded applications that handle data packet decoding using protocols including UART, I2C, SPI, and CAN bus.
- Knowledge of Source Control systems.
- Understanding of IP protocols (TCP, UDP) within an embedded context is advantageous.
- Experience with hardware verification tools, such as oscilloscopes, to assess timing and signal integrity is a plus.
- Development experience for Android or iOS platforms is a bonus.
- Prior experience in the security industry is preferred.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Create software solutions for 8-, 16-, and 32-bit microprocessor-based hardware platforms utilized in the security sector (including fire, burglary, and access control systems) along with the corresponding firmware.
- Collaborate with the development and marketing teams to define system-level functionalities, performance expectations, and specifications, and to execute suitable software architectures and firmware designs.
- Develop and code firmware for innovative security products using the C programming language.
