In this role, my team and I will rely on you to develop a thorough understanding of MyDefence's C-UAS product suite, encompassing technical specifications, operational procedures, and typical use cases for military and law enforcement sectors. You will provide timely and effective technical support through phone, email, and possibly video conferencing, assisting customers with initial product setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues related to our systems. You'll diagnose and resolve technical challenges by following established protocols, escalating complex issues to senior technical support or engineering teams when needed. Additionally, you will assist in creating and updating technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to empower customers. Participating in product training sessions and continuously learning about product updates and industry advancements will be key components of your role. You will also be expected to adhere to all company policies, security protocols, and compliance requirements, especially regarding sensitive customer information. Some travel may be necessary for on-site support or training, which may involve visits to military bases or law enforcement facilities.
Description
We encourage candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field accompanied by three or more years of relevant experience to apply. Previous experience in customer service or technical support, even outside of a technical domain, is preferred. A basic understanding of RF communications, networking principles, or drone technology is advantageous, and familiarity with military or law enforcement environments will be viewed favorably. Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+, will also be considered beneficial. The working conditions for this position involve primarily an office environment with occasional travel and field training. You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and may need access to restricted facilities or classified information while complying with all security protocols and export control regulations. This is a full-time role with a 40-hour work week, primarily during the day shift. The annual pay range is between $78,000.00 and $95,000.00, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes a 401(k) plan with matching, dental, health, life, vision insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan. In your application, please let us know if you can travel on short notice to assist military customers and share your years of experience working with military or law enforcement personnel in providing live technical solutions in the field.
