Systems Administrator with Linux Expertise

- Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and dependable operation of IT servers and hybrid cloud setups - Install and upgrade computer hardware and software, manage virtual servers, and implement automation processes - Provide technical documentation and specifications to IT staff for planning and executing IT infrastructure upgrades - Conduct or assign regular backup operations, ensuring effective data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures - Plan for infrastructure capacity needs - Handle M365 administration, including Entra ID and tenant management - Manage email security solutions such as Proofpoint - Provide advanced VMware and Microsoft Server support to the global technical team - Assess and recommend new technological products - Address and remediate Cybersecurity vulnerabilities identified by the IT Security Team - Maintain oversight of server hardware inventory and manage lifecycle refreshes - Collaborate with third-party vendors for hardware and software procurement - Support the planning and compliance with annual IT budgets - Monitor global server infrastructures to ensure uptime and perform maintenance as needed - Apply IT industry best practices and resources to optimize IT service delivery - Lead investigations and responses to major incidents - Engage in Proof of Concept activities when required - Participate in an On Call after-hours and emergency support rotation
