Requirements

Must:

Responsibilities

- Deliver technical support to both on-premises and remote employees and customers using the Jira ticketing system and phone, including email, Teams chat, or remote access - Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure prompt resolution of tickets and provide follow-up with all clients - Coordinate and escalate unresolved issues to other support levels effectively - Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 11 and occasionally MacOS systems - Address mobile device issues (Apple and Android phones and tablets) - Diagnose and resolve problems with computer software and hardware - Assist in servicing, upgrading, and deploying computer systems and peripherals - Create, update, and document knowledgebase articles, procedures, and resolution steps - Perform network cabling, punch down, and crimping tasks - Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned - Occasionally work on weekends and after hours as needed

In this role, the Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing top-notch client and user help desk support in a multi-site environment, catering to more than 2000 users through the Jira ticketing system and phone communications. Your primary tasks will involve help desk-related activities, including hardware and software setup, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and other network or systems-level responsibilities. This is a technical role that requires a strong understanding of computers, diagnostic and repair techniques, the ability to learn and apply technical knowledge in a fast-paced and challenging workplace, as well as the ability to adhere to established procedures and policies. This position will report directly to the IT Systems Manager. This full-time position will require availability on weekdays and weekends, located in Tonawanda, NY. While we do not provide relocation assistance, there may be opportunities for remote work after the initial on-site training period. Compensation for this role ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour and includes benefits such as a 401(k) plan, flexible spending accounts, health insurance, health savings accounts, life insurance, and paid time off.
