Must:
We are looking for a qualified candidate who possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, specifically at least 2 years in a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)-focused position. You should have a robust understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS. Hands-on experience with SIEM, vulnerability management, endpoint security, and cloud security tools is essential. Familiarity with scripting or automation languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash is preferred. Additionally, you should be capable of working autonomously while managing multiple priorities and exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead and assist with cybersecurity risk assessments, audits, and compliance efforts (including ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, HIPAA). Your tasks will include developing, maintaining, and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures, as well as tracking and reporting on risk remediation efforts to ensure timely closure of findings. You will be responsible for vulnerability management, threat monitoring, and incident response, as well as conducting security assessments for applications, infrastructure, and third-party vendors. We expect you to collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design and implement secure solutions, manage cybersecurity projects from inception to execution and reporting, and proactively identify security gaps, initiating measures to enhance our security posture. You will facilitate cross-functional collaboration to integrate security considerations into business processes while translating technical security matters into clear insights for leadership. Regular updates on risk posture, compliance status, and key initiatives will also be part of your role, along with acting as a trusted advisor to technical teams and business stakeholders.
