Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 3+ years of practical experience in network security.
- Proficiency with security platforms such as Cisco ASA, Fortinet FortiGate, and Juniper SRX.
- Solid understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, switching, and ACLs.
- Familiarity with essential security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, authentication, encryption, and incident response.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, firewall virtualization, VPNs, NAT, DNS, and IPS/IDS.
- Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security, Fortinet FCA/FCSS/NSE, and CISSP or GIAC (optional).
- Experience with DevOps tools such as GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, Python, REST APIs, Jenkins, and Jinja2.
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS and Azure network security services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong exemplification of initiative and self-direction with a growth-oriented mindset.
- Ability to function independently within a global virtual team.
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills with strong analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Team-oriented with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee network security technologies and services across various environments including data centers and cloud.
- Investigate, assess, and recommend the latest industry best practices in network security technology.
- Operate and maintain network security appliances including Fortinet, Cisco, and Juniper, focusing on upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management.
- Construct and manage network security infrastructure utilizing DevOps practices and automation tools.
- Support our Zero-Ops automation vision by creating solutions to reduce manual tasks and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Engage in security operations activities such as monitoring, threat analysis, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Analyze security advisories and vulnerabilities, providing prompt recommendations for mitigation.
- Participate in ad-hoc vulnerability assessments and incident response efforts.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, network engineering, project teams, and internal customers to ensure seamless operations.
- Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and processes for continuous support.
- Take part in a global follow-the-sun on-call rotation for incident management.
