Product Manager - Epic Patient Access

- Define and refine the product vision, roadmap, and KPIs for Epic Prelude, including registration, insurance verification, and patient self-registration workflows - Collaborate with clinical, operational, revenue cycle, and IT leadership to ensure product strategy aligns with organizational objectives - Lead discovery initiatives to uncover workflow gaps, patient access issues, and opportunities for enhancements - Oversee the discovery and execution of integrated enhancements and projects - Partner with operations to ensure Epic facility hierarchy aligns with operational realities - Maintain optimization of Epics facility structure for new site expansions, ambulatory sites, joint ventures, and specialty centers - Supervise build, configuration, and optimization efforts across Prelude and closely related modules - Assess and enact new Epic features, upgrades, and enhancement requests in line with systemwide governance - Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Epic Prelude and Facility Structure workflows - Prioritize and manage the product backlog in partnership with application analysts and technical teams - Drive the successful implementation of new features, enhancements, and workflow changes - Track performance metrics and conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure ongoing improvement - Collaborate with training teams to support end-user education and facilitate smooth adoption - Manage a team of Epic analysts providing support and enhancements, including: - Planning tasks, delegating effectively, and following up with staff while providing support and direction - Overseeing resource allocation within the product group, managing assignments and new implementations, including new system roll-outs or functionalities - Evaluating the teams performance, providing performance management, and ensuring delivery of high-quality services and products - Mentoring and identifying training needs for team members to enhance their professional development and technical expertise - Making staffing decisions and facilitating promotions for team members
